Question 571046: The second angle in a triangle is one third as large as the first. The third angle is two thirds as large as the first angle. FInd the angle measures. Draw a picture of the triangle. Please help! I need to know how it is worked out and everything. Thanks in advance!! :)
Answer by nyc_function(2741) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Here is the equation you need to solve the question:
x + (x/3) + (2x/3) = 180
Let x = first angle
Let (x/3) = second angle
Let (2x/3) = third angle
When you find x, substitute x for each angle above to find all 3 angles of your triangle.
