Question 537716: Good day I need yr help to understand the answer of this question
the sum of the interior angles of a traingle are 180 degrees. that mean the sum of the exterior angles is 3x360-180 = 900 degrees. If you subtract the 90 degree "straight" parts (2per corner) then you have 900-{3x2x90}=900-540=360. that's the full circle.

Imagine a convex polygon (any number of sides) large enough for you to walk around. Extend one of the sides out past the vertex into the area outside of the polygon. Now stand on the vertex with the extension facing in the direction of the extension. Turn and walk along the next side until you get to the next vertex, then turn and follow the next side, and so on until you arrive back at the point you started. You will have turned exactly 360 degrees if you add the number of degrees of angle you turn at each vertex.
