Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
in triangle ABC, the angle C is six times as large as angle A. The measure of angle B is 20 greater than that of angle A. Find the measure of the angles.
---
Let Angle A be "x" degrees
Then Angle C is "6x" degrees
And Angle B is "x+20" degrees
-----------------
Equation:
x + 6x + x+20 = 180
8x = 160
x = 20 degrees (Angle A)
6x = 120 degrees (Angle C)
x+20 = 40 degrees (Angle B)
-----------------------------
Cheers,
Stan H.
