Question 530147: How do you find the obtuse of a Scalene Triangle?
Please help me thank you ..

Answer by KMST(5328)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A scalene triangle is one with 3 sides of different length.
An obtuse angle is one that measures more that a right angle.
A scalene triangle could have an obtuse angle, or it could have 3 acute angles.
All thre angles of a triangle always add up to 180 degrees.
If you do not have the other two angles, finding a third angle is more complicated.
In those cases, a triangle with one obtuse angle is harder to solve that one with a right angle.
There are two equations that can be useful when dealing with triangles that do not have a right angle: the law of sines and the law of cosines, but how to solve the problem depends on what information you have about other angles and sides of the triangle.
