Question 528468: I need to find the area of a triangle. The base is 33 1/3 and the height is 16
Answer by oberobic(2304)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Area of Triangle = 1/2*Base*Height.
I'll assume everything is measured in cm.
33 1/3 = 100/3 exactly
1/2*Height = 16/2 = 8
Area = 8*100/3 = 800/3 = 266 2/3 cm^2
