How am I supposed to show that online?

It'll be to your best advantage to take some graph paper, assume each square is 1 cm long (or you can take 4 squares and say the area is 1 cm^2) and draw triangles that have an area of 12 cm^2. For sake of ease, draw the base along a demarcation line, and draw a height. Make sure they multiply to 24 cm^2 (since A = bh/2).
