Question 496968: the measure of one angle of a triangle is three times the measure of the smallest angle, and the measure of the last angle is equal to the sum of the other two angles, find the measure of the greatest
Answer by cleomenius(959) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A = 4x the largest
B = 3x the middle
C = x the smallest
8x = 180 degrees.
x = 22.5 degrees Angle C
3(22.5) = 67.5 degrees Angle B
4(22.5) = 88 Angle A
22.5 + 67.5 + 88 = 180 degrees. This does check.
