Question 491584: how do you figure perimiter demensions if no sides are given?
Answer by cleomenius(959)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The first situation I could think of with a triangle is an equilateral triangle with the area known.
Area = (/4 )* s^2
Area * (4/() = s^2
Square root of Area * (4/()= s
3s = your perimeter.
It would also be possible with an isosceles triangle if you know the height and either a base angle or the vertex angle you are taking the height to the base from. From this information, you could figure out the three angles and using the height determine the sides using trig functions.
Cleomenius.
