Answer by cleomenius(959) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
We can use the distance formula to find the area between coordinates.
AB =
AB = = 5
BC =
BC = = 5
AC =
AC = = 6
So this will give us the length of the sides
AC = 5
BC = 5
AC = 6
The perimeter therefore will be 5 + 5 + 6 = 16
The area we can find using Herons formula.
Area =
Where s is the semiperimeter of the triangle.
s = 5 + 5 + 6/ 2 = 8
Area =
Area = 12
