the acute angles of a right triangle are in the ratio 4:5. How large is the triangle's largest exterior angle?
-----
4:5 is the same as 4x:5x
---
Equation:
4x + 5x = 90 degrees
---
9x = 90
x = 10
---
one of the angles is 4x = 40 degrees
the other is x = 50 degrees.
