Question 455542: If I have a 30-60-90 degree triangle and I am only given the longer side length, (not the shorter side length or the hypotenuse) and that side length is 9, how would i figure out what the hypotenuse and shorter side length are?
Answer by richwmiller(17219)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
shorter side is 1x
hypotenuse is 2x
longer side is x*sqrt(3)
9=sqrt(3)*3*sqrt(3)
so x=3sqrt(3)= shorter side
hypotenuse is 6*sqrt(3)
