Find each base angle of isosceles triangle ABC if it is 12 degrees more than the vertex angle.
---
Let the vertex angle be "x".
Then each base angle is "x+12".
Equation:
x + 2(x+12) = 180
3x = 156
x = 52 degrees
Each base angle is x+12 = 64 degrees.
