Question 424749: In a triangle ABC, angle B is 5 times angle A and angle C is 2 degrees less than 4 times angle A. Find the size of the angles:
The size of angle A is:
The size of angle B is
The size of angle C is?
Answer by linh117(31) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
180 = A + B + C
B = 5A
C = 4A - 2
plug in B and C into first equation
180 = A + 5A + (4A - 2)
add like terms
180 = 10A - 2
add two to both sides
182 = 10A
divide by 10
A = 91/5
