In any right+angled+triangle, for any angle:
The sine of the angle = the length of the opposite side o
the length of the hypotenuse
The cosine of the angle = the length of the adjacent side a
the length of the hypotenuse h
The tangent of the angle = the length of the opposite side
the length of the adjacent side o

So in shorthand notation:


sin=o%2Fh cos=a%2Fh tan=o%2Fa
