Question 392774: if the side lengths of a triangle are 8, 9, and 10 would it be obtuse, acute, or right. or can it not be formed? if so why?

All angles would be acute.
-----------
If the square of the longest side = the sum of the squares of the other 2 sides, it's a right triangle (c^2 = a^2 + b^2).
If it's less, it's acute.
If it's more, it's obtuse.
-------------
If the longest side (not the squares) is equal to or greater than the sum of the other 2, it can't be formed.
