Hello,
The smartest way to go on these with fractions is get rid of the fractions.
This -4x-25=-27 2/3 can be multiplied by 3 to get:
-12x-75=-83
Now add 75 to both sides:
-12x=-8
Divide both sides by -12 to get:
x=8/12 or 2/3
Make sense?
