1) (isosceles) b= 40 in. side= 29 in.
2) (isosceles) b= 12 cm side=14 cm
3) (isosceles) b= 70 ft. side= 41 ft.

Classify each triangle (acute, obtuse, right) based on the given side lengths.

Let "c" be the longest side on each set of three numbers.
If c^2 = a^2+b^2, the triangle is right
---
If c^2 > a^2 + b^2, the triangle is obtuse
---
If c^2 < a^2 + b^2, the triangle is acute.

1) 6,9,10
Example:
10^2 R 6^2 + 9^2
100 R 36+81
100 < 117
Therefore the triangle is acute.

Use the same process on #2 thru #6:
2) 18,24,30
3) 20,100,110
4) 7,24,25

6) 13,21,24
