Question 282676: In ΔABC, m∠A = 3x + 40, m∠B = 8x + 35, and m∠C = 10x. Which is the longest side of the triangle?
Answer by richwmiller(17219)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x+40+8x+35+10x=180
x=5
so we have angles
3x+40=55
8x+35=40+35=85
10x=50
the side opposite the largest angle B is the longest
