since the angles are complimentary, that means the two angles are = 90 degrees.
so
(7x+4)+(4x+9)=90
this is
11x+13=90
11x=77
x=7
plug this into A and B and get
7(7)+4=49+4=53 angle A is 53
4(7)+9=28+9=37 angle B is 27
*53+27=90...so you know it's right
