 2L+2W=20
2*1+2*5=2*10=20 area=1*5=5
2*1.25+2*4=2.5*8=20 area=1.25*4=5
2*2+2*2.5=4*5=20 area=2*2.5=5
2*1.5+2*3.333=3*6.666=20 area=1.5*3.333=5
2*3+2*1.666=6*3.333=20 area=3*1.666=5

 If the perimeter of a rectangle is 20 inches, give five possible areas and the dimensions for each.
P = 2*L + 2*W = 2*(L + W)
20 = 2*(L + W)
10 = L + W
So we must have:
Since  Area = L * W we must have:
L,    W,    Area
9,    1,    9
8,    2,    16
7,    3,    21
6,    4,    24
5,    5,    25
