How do you find the length of the missing side of a triangle when given only on side, if the side given is the hypotenuse of a right triangle?

To find any side or angle of a triangle, you have to know 3 elements, and at least one has to be a side.
The hypotenuse and one angle (90 degs) is not sufficient info.
