Question 247396: can the lengths 0.5,0.7,0.3 make a proper triangle
Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You have three numbers, so you can make three different pairs of numbers. If all possible sums of two of the numbers are greater than the third number, then it is possible to make a triangle.
For example, 0.5, 0.8, and 0.3 would NOT make a triangle. Because 0.5 + 0.3 = 0.8. That means you would have a straight line instead of a triangle.
