2nd side is 3x
3rd side is 3x

Equation:
side + side + side = perimeter
x + 3x + 3x = 84
7x = 84
x = 12

shortest side = x = 12 cm
2nd side = 3x = 3*12 = 36 cm
3rd side = 3x = 36 cm
