Assume that it is an acute angle. If sin A = 0.994, use a calculator to find the measure to two decimal places.

Step 1.

Step 2. Take the inverse or arcsin(A) to both sides of equation. Then

arcsin(sin(A))=arcsin(0.994)

A= 83.72 degrees.

where arcsin(sin(A)))=A and arcsin(0.994)=83.72 degrees
