Question 200364: Hi all, im having a bit of trouble with some triangle problems, in all of the I know the length of two sides and one angle is given. How do I find the length of the unknown side and the valus of the unknown angles?
Here is an example: Triangle 1 has side AB = 11, side AC = 10 and angle B = 15 Degrees. Find length of side AB.
If anyone can help me out that would be great. I would also like to learn how to solve for the unknown angles in the above question. Thanks, -Nick.

Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You stated that AB = 11 ??
--------------------------
If the one angle given is between 2 known sides, use the Law of Cosines to find the 3rd side.
If the given angle is not between 2 known sides, use the Law of Sines to find the other angles and side.
