This one is done in the same manner as Question #194617. Go to

The only difference is the total area function setup. Let x represent the length of the side of the equilateral triangle (because that's what it says to do). Then the perimeter of the triangle must be: 3x and the perimeter of the square has to be 20 - 3x.
The area of an equilateral triangle of side x is
and the area of the square is
. And, of course, the total area is the sum of the two.
