The measures of the three angles of any triangle sum to 180 degrees. You have a right triangle, which, by definition has one angle that measures 90 degrees. That means that the remaining two angles must sum to 90 degrees (180 - 90 = 90). So all you have to do is subtract 39 from 90 to get the measure of your third angle.
