The sum of the degress of the angles of a triangle is 180.
If XY=YZ, then angles X and Z are equal because the sides opposite to those angles (XY, YZ) are equal. Therefor, X=52 and Z=52.
Now we have an equation.
52+52+Y=180
We add 52+52
104+Y=108
We subtract 104 from 108
~Y=4~
