Question 133172: In a triangle, I know the base & height. How do I get the measurement of the other side of the triangle?
Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
IF YOU HAVE A RIGHT TRIANGLE & THE HEIGHT IS ONE SIDE & THE BASE IS ANOTHER SIDE THEN YOU USE THE PYTHAGOREAN THEOREM:
HERE WE HAVE A=BASE, B=HEIGHT & C=HYPOTENUSE.
A^2+B^2=C^2
