THE HEIGHT OF AN EQILATERAL TRIANGLE FORMS A RIGHT TRIANGLE WITH AN HYPOTENUSE OF 22CM. & A BASE OF 22/2=11 CM.
USING THE PYTHAGOREAN THEOREM A^2+B^2=C^2 WE HAVE:
11*2+B^2=22^2
121+B^2=484
B^2=484-121
B^2=363
B=SQRT363
B=19.05 ANSWER FOR THE THIRD SIDE OR HEIGHT OF THIS TRIANGLE.
