AB = 2*BC

BFDE is a square, so triangles AED, ABC and DFC are similar.

So DF = 2*FC.

Then, since DF=FB...

Let CF = x. Then...
DF = 2x
BC = CF+FB = CF+DF = x+2x = 3x
AB=2*BC = 6x
