No, that's not correct.
The perimeter is the sum of the sides
P=5%2B3%2B4=12
The area of a triangle is
A=%281%2F2%29bh
where b is the base and h is the height.
You can find it by letting b=3 and h=4, or
by letting b=4 and h=3.
The answer will be the same.
