Since the base is common and the heights differ in two times, the areas differ in two times, too.


Then without any calculations, it is clear that the area of the smaller triangle is 20 square millimeters,

while the area of the larger triangle is 40 square millimeters.


So, for the larger triangle,  area =  = 40,  which implies  H =  =  = 16 millimeters.    ANSWER
