Question 1124785: In the right △ABC with m∠C=90°, m∠B=75°, and AB=12 cm. Find the area of △ABC.
Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
AB is hypotenuse
side opposite to B is the altitude (draw this) and sin 75=b/12
b=12 sin 75=11.59 cm
therefore, the other side, the base a, is 12 cos 75=3.11 cm
A=(1/2)bh=(1/2)*11.59*3.11=18.02 cm^2
