Question 1081298: Area of a triangle is 88sq units the base is 2x+10 and height is ×+2 what is the base and height?
Answer by jorel1380(3719)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
88=1/2*(2x+10)(x+2)
x²+7x+10-88=0
x²+7x-78=0
(x+13)(x-6)=0
x=6
base=2(6)+10=22 units
height=6+2=8 units
