Question 1036037: I need to calculate a generalized formula for foot of perpendicular point.
Lets assume ABC are 3 points which forms any triangle [A(x1,y1), B(x2,y2) P(x0,y0)].Lets say O(x,y) be the foot of the perpendicular point on line AB from P.
Now I need a generalized formula to calculate the coordinates of point O(x,y).
PS: Seems to be easy to analyse but when I put down on paper I am getting struck at some point.
