Hi there,
Make the second side = x
..........
1st side = 2x
2nd side = x
3rd side = x + 5
Perimeter = 1st side + 2nd side + 3rd side
26 = 2x + x + x + 5
Collect like terms:
4x = 26 - 5
4x = 21
x = 5.25mm
...........
1st side = 10.5mm
2nd side = 5.25mm
3rd side = 10.25mm
...Total = 26mm

first side =2x
third side = x+5
Add them up
x+x+5 +2x =26
4x+5=26
4x = 21
x= 21/4
x= 5.25
2x = 10.5
x+5 = 10.25
