there are various ways to enter the degree symbol rather than typing degrees, but i usually just type degrees because it's less of a hassle than finding the symbol and inserting it.

if triangle ABC and JKL are similar, then the corresponding angles are congruent.

if you have used the proper nomenclature, then angle A is congruent to angle J and angle B is congruent to angle K and angle C is congruent to angle L.

similarly, if you have used the proper nomenclature, then side AB is proportional to side JK and side BC is proportional to side KL and side AC is proportional to side JL.

the proper nomenclature is that the letters have to be arranged so that corresponding parts are aligned with corresponding parts.

you can see this in ABC and JKL>

put JKL underneath ABC and you get:

ABC
JKL

A is aligned with J, B is aligned with K, and C is aligned with L.

this means that angle A corresponds with angle J, angle B corresponds with angle K, and angle C corresponds with angle L.

this also means that side AB corresponds with side JK and side BC corresponds with side KL and side AC corresponds with side JL.

you are given that angle Ais equal to 60 degrees and angle J is equal to 60 degrees.

this would be correct, since they are corresponding angle and corresponding angles of similar triangle are congruent.
