5X-Y=10 OR -Y=-5X+10 OR Y=5X-10 NOW REPLACE Y WITH (5X-10) IN THE OTHER EQUATION 7 SOLVE FOR Y.
7X-2(5X-10)=11
7X-10X+20=11
-3X=11-20
-3X=-9
X=-9/-3
X=3 ANSWER.
5*3-Y=10
15-Y=10
-Y=10-15
-Y=-5
Y=5 ANSWER.
