Question 968863: I am having problems finding an answer could you send the solution. How would it look on a graph?
Find the graph of the solution to the inequality.
5x + 9 < 10x − 1
Answer by rothauserc(4718) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5x + 9 < 10x − 1
subtract 5x from both sides of <
9 < 5x -1
add 1 to both sides of <
10 < 5x
divide both sides of < by 5
2 < x
therefore
x > 2, in interval notation it is (2, +infinity)
here is the red shaded graph
