x/x-1 - 1/x+1 = 2/x^2-1
L.C.M. of x-1 & x+1 is x^2-1
x(x+1)-1(x-1)/x^2-1 = 2/x^2-1
x^2+x-x+1 = 2 (cancel x^2-1 on both sides)
x^2+1-2 = 0
x^2-1 = 0
(x+1) (x-1) = 0
x+1 = 0 or x = -1
x-1 = 0 or x= 1 therefore solution set for the given expression
is x = +1 or -1
