Question 87529: how do you find a solution to a system of equations like this one
x^2-x+6=y
2x+2y=36
Thank you to whom ever can assist with this!!!
Answer by Nate(3500) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Isolate a variable:
2x + 2y = 36
x + y = 18
y = 18 - x
Plug:
x^2 - x + 6 = y
x^2 - x + 6 = 18 - x
x^2 = 12
x = sqrt(12) and x = -sqrt(12)
