Question 705645: {-x+7y=-25
{x+8y=-20
Answer by geetha_rama(94) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-x + 7y = -25
x + 8y = -20
Add above two equations
15y = -45
=> y = -3
Substituting y in first equation,
-x+ 7 * (-3) = -25
-x -21 = -25
-x = -25+21
-x = -4
=> x = 4
Hence x = 4, y = -3
