Question 66422: 6-b=5b+30
Answer by uma(370)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6 - b = 5b + 30
Adding b to both the sides we get,
6 - b + b = 5b + 30 + b
==> 6 = 6b + 30
==> 6 - 30 = 6b + 30 - 30
==> - 24 = 6b
==> - 24/6 = 6b/6
==> - 4 = b

Thus b = -4
