SOLUTION: I need to simplify 6.7x(3x-2y)+1.2(x^2-y^2) Heres what I have completed 20.1x^2-13.4xy+1.2x^2-1.2y^2 = 21.3x^2-1.2y^2-13.4xy

Question 64015: I need to simplify 6.7x(3x-2y)+1.2(x^2-y^2)
Heres what I have completed 20.1x^2-13.4xy+1.2x^2-1.2y^2 = 21.3x^2-1.2y^2-13.4xy

Answer by Edwin McCravy(20086)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I need to simplify

6.7x(3x - 2y) + 1.2(x² - y²)

Heres what I have completed

20.1x² - 13.4xy + 1.2x² - 1.2y² =

21.3x² - 1.2y² - 13.4xy

You are correct! However your
teacher may have expected you
to write the final answer in
descending powers of x, in which
case you would swap the last two
terms and write:

21.3x² - 13.4xy - 1.2y²
