Systems-of-equations/625833 (2012-07-04 08:07:02): I am gearing up for my test and this is a practice question and I just can't remember the formula.
one person traveled h hours at 60 mph. a second person traveled 2h-5 hours at 40 mph. both traveld the same distance.
how many hors did the second person travel?
_____
Equation:
Distance = Distance
60h = (2h-5)40
60h = 80h - 200
20h = 200
h = 10
_______
