Question 612023: Can you solve the system of equations.
x+2y=11
x=14-2y

and then this one:
3x+y=5
2y-10=-6x

Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x+2y=11
x=14-2y --> x+2y = 14
It can't = both 11 & 14
--> inconsistent, no solution
------------------
and then this one:
3x+y=5
2y-10=-6x
--------------
Rearrange the 2nd equation and divide it by 2.
It's the same equation twice --> dependent, no unique solution.
