Question 59736: I need help factoring 12x^3y^3 - 6x^4y^2
Answer by uma(370)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
12x^3 y^3 - 6x^4 y^2
The GCF of 12 and 6 is 6.
The GCF of x^3 and x^4 is x^3 and the GCF of y^3 and y^2 is y^2
Taking out the gCF from the above terms,
6x^3 y^2 (2y - x)
Thus 12x^3 y^3 - 6x^4 y^2
= 6x^3y^2(2y-x)
Good Luck!!!
