heres what i have x=4y-8 but im not sure if this is correct

Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-2X+8Y=16 TRANFERING THE 8Y TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE EQUATION CHANGES ITS SIGN
-2X=-8Y+16 NOW DIVIDE ALL TERMS BY (-2) YOU GET
X=-8Y/-2+16/-2 OR
X=4Y-8 YOU GOT IT RIGHT :)
