Question 551095: Simplify
-x^2y^2/x^1/2y^0
Answer by mathstutor458(57) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-x^2y^2/x^1/2y^0 = (-x^2y^2/x^1)(2Y^0) (since,c/a/b=bc/a)
=(-x^2y^2/x)(2*1) (since a^1=a,a^0=1)
=2*(-x^(2-1)*y^2) (since a^p/a^q = a^(p-q))
=-2*(x^1*y^2)
=-2xy^2 --------->answer
